02 Apr Inauguration Ceremony of the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye
President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has been officially sworn in today, at the prestigious Diamniadio Exhibition Center. The event took place in the presence of numerous national and international dignitaries.
Following the inauguration ceremony, an official handover of power took place at the Presidential Palace between President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and outgoing President Macky Sall. After a private meeting, President Faye accompanied his predecessor, who had completed two consecutive terms as head of Senegal.
