08 Oct Participation of the Senegalese national football team to the 4th World Football Championship for the Deaf
The Senegalese national deaf football team participated in the 4th World Deaf Football Championship, held in Malaysia from September 23 to October 7, 2023.
The Lions of Teranga qualified for the semi-finals after successively defeating Argentina, Ukraine, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Our intrepid lions were unfortunately defeated by Ukraine on penalties (7-8), after valiantly battling until extra time.
